The ETMU Awards were given on Friday 1 December 2023 during the final day of the 20th ETMU conference in Jyväskylä. Please find below the official statement from ETMU’s chairperson for the Academic Award and the Societal Award which were respectively awarded to Professor Suvi Keskinen and Palestinian Voices in Finland.
We have had a wonderful 20th ETMU conference in Jyväskylä and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! We are incredibly grateful to the local organizers who have managed to bring us together around a challenging and important theme that gave us opportunities to share anger and hope about intellectual, artistic, and (non-)human ways to move forward.
