\"\"I am Iida Kauhanen<\/strong>, a Ph.D. researcher at the University of Oulu. Before starting as a full time Ph.D.\u00a0researcher, I was working as a preparatory teacher for immigrant children in a lower secondary school.<\/p>\n

My special interest is on the normalised practices that hinder possibilities of equal participation. On my Ph.D. I focus on the every-day experiences of young people who arrived in Finland as minors and were seeking for asylum without their primary caregivers.<\/p>\n
