My name is Christine Namdar<\/strong>, a Visiting Fellow at the Graduate School of Education (HGSE) at Harvard University and a Visiting Scholar at the Education Department at the University of Helsinki. I have a BA and MA in Sociology from The University of Warwick and a BSc in Education from Stockholm University. My educational path also includes valuable experiences in psychology at Lund University.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I was recently a doctoral researcher for a project examining ‘The Role of Educational Institutions in Guiding Young People\u2019s Worldview Construction,’ carried out between 2018-2023. This project involved collaboration with the University of Oxford, University of Helsinki, Drexel, Stockholm University, the Department of Education, and the Department of Sociology at \u00c5bo Akademi, and funded by the Academy of Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my current research, I am dedicated to understanding the potential of youth as transformative agents of change. I firmly believe in the positive possibilities of young people, who are often overlooked in discussions about our future. My research includes service-based learning, addressing existential and spiritual questions in educational settings, and evaluating successful ways in preventing gangs and radicalisation processes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
