Nilay Kilinç

Nilay Kilinç is a social anthropologist with a focus on migration studies. Currently, she holds a postdoctoral researcher position at Helsinki Institute of Urban and Regional Studies, University of Helsinki.

Her research is focused on highly-skilled migration in Nordic capitals. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from University of Surrey and MA degree from Lund University. Her Ph.D. thesis explored the lifestyle motivations for the second-generation Turkish-Germans to “return” to Turkey and settle in the Mediterranean tourism hub, Antalya.
