What is ETMU?

The Society for the Study of Ethnic Relations and International Migration (ETMU) is a multidisciplinary association of Finnish researchers, established to promote research in this field in Finland.

The Society arranges annual scientific conferences (ETMU days) and excursions, edits a scientific journal and a popular scientific blog, and administers e-mailing lists used for communicating about current matters in its sphere of interest.

How To Get Involved

Anyone who wants to promote the Society’s purpose and who accepts the Society’s rules may become a member of the Society. Membership is granted by the Board of Directors on the basis of an application for membership. You can also get information about current events related to ethnic relations via e-mailing lists (in Finnish and in English): list subscription does not require membership.

Current members, please keep your contact info updated!
